A: ecoDocShare is an internet-based service that allows you to easily share project documents and files with people inside and outside your organization (such as vendors and subcontractors). It eliminates the time, expense and burden of copying, printing and shipping or emailing large amounts of paperwork to multiple locations.
Q: Why should I consider a web-based service?
A: Web-based applications can dramatically increase the flow and value of information within and between people/businesses without any investment in new software or hardware. Users can immediately begin using the service with its simple, intuitive, web-based browser interface. They have instant access to their assigned documents and projects from any location with Internet access.
Q: Is training required to start using ecoDocShare?
A: No training is required to use ecoDocShare. You navigate through and use the portal just like any other website.
Q: What IT resources are required to get started with ecoDocShare?
A: None. ecoDocShare is a hosted service which requires no local technical support. There is no hardware to purchase and no software to install or maintain.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Simply click on the "Sign up now" link on the home page, choose your package and follow the instructions. Or you may contact us directly at 425- 222-0098.
Q: How many users can ecoDocShare support?
A: The service can handle multiple users in multiple locations.
Q: How many folders can I create?
A: You may create as many folders and sub-folders as you need; we don't presently place any restrictions on the total number (other then what is defined in the package you choose).
Q: Can I use the ecoDocShare with my PDA?
A: Yes you can connect to your ecoDocShare website from any internet enabled device including PDAs and mobile phones.
Q: What types of documents can the service manage?
A: ecoDocShare allows you to upload and manage virtually all common file types, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel documents, as well as TIFF and JPEG files. The portal allows you to consolidate all of your project information in one place, including contacts, dates, notes and reference numbers.
Q: What are the file size storage limits?
A: Depends on the package you choose.
Q: How much does the ecoDocShare cost?
- Package 1: $99.95 per month - 10 open projects with 100 megabytes of storage.
- Package 2: $249.95 per month - 40 open projects and 400 megabytes of storage
- Package 3: $900.00 per month - 5 gigabytes of storage and unlimited projects with one year contract. Many added features at this level.
